The Recycled Ski Double-Wide Adirondack Chair is a double wide adirondack chair that is perfect for a ski house (or a house of skiers). Like the single chair, this chair seats two and is made of top quality materials and is designed to give you years of comfort and enjoyment. The Recycled Ski Double-Wide Adirondack Chairs are manufactured using quality 40 year pressure treated southern yellow pine for the frames and are finished with durable exterior paints or stains providing years of trouble free ownership (typically, the wood used for these products needs to be seasoned or dried to a stable moisture content for two weeks. Sometimes the lumber is curing when orders are placed so this could be a factor in shipping time). The reason this is done is so the furniture doesn't shrink, warp, twist, crack, etc. once it is assembled and finished. It may seem like a long time, but it really is important for quality! Adirondack Chair, Dbl. Wide: over all height (tip of longest ski) is 53". Seat width varies from 42" to 48", depending on the skis used. Seat depth is consistent with a normal adirondack chair - about 19-20 inches. Number of skis on the back can be 12 to 14, again depending on the skis. The newer "fat" skis tend to use 12.
